2022 Collaborations Concerts In-person Piano Strings Students

Spring Recital for Intermediate & Advanced Students

April 3, 2022: Yesterday afternoon, students performed beautifully in a 90 min. recital featuring solos and duos for violin, viola, and piano. For our studio, it was the first time since 2019 that an event of this kind had taken place. Many thanks to all of the performers, supportive parents, church staff and the violin studio of Amanda Lee for making it possible to perform live once again. “An die Musik.”

Live Performances are Back!

This spring we are excited to bring students back to the concert stage, starting with the Recital for Intermediate and Advanced Students (RCM Levels 5-ARCT) on Saturday, April 2nd.

Update: This will be one recital and not two, as originally planned.

The recital will take place in the beautiful sanctuary at Windermere United Church. The sanctuary features a grand piano and ample seating.

Approximately 15 students of violin, viola, and piano will perform concertos, sonatas, preludes, and character pieces by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Johann Sebastian Bach, Karl Bohm, Johann Friedrich Burgmüller, Frederic Chopin, Arcangelo Corelli, Cesar Franck, Heinrich Hofmann, Dmitri Kabalevsky, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Domenico Scarlatti, and Antonio Vivaldi.

Participating Studios: Amanda Lee Violin Studio and Raposa Millar Piano & Theory Studio

Piano accompaniment provided by Gregory Millar and Lisa Raposa Millar

Next Events: Chamber Music Program Recital (May or June) // Recitals for Students of All Levels (June 18th)
